Welcome to Shine Dental!
In recent times Shine has experienced some change, some growth...but we are happy and excited to announce that the only thing that changes is what we have to offer you. With the recent addition of Dr. Logan Orr (June 2026), we are excited to be able to offer a full array of dental services within our clinic. Dr. Orr brings experience, exceptional skill, compassion and dedication to patient care. We are now able to offer a more comprehensive range of dental services and expanded treatment options than ever before while continuuing with the personalized, patient-centered experience you have come to expect from us.
Change can be weary, and so we also understand and respect that some of our patients may prefer to continue seeing their current dentist while maintaining their hygiene services with us. We are happy to support whichever arrangement feels most comfortable for you!
We strive to make your experience the most stress-free and comfortable possible. Aromatherapy, warm blankets, and different methods of treatment for pain management are a few things to help with relaxation. It's quiet, except for the fountains and music. No dental drills going off in the background.

We are a full service dental practice. In June 2026 we evolved from an independent dental hygiene practice into a dental practice. Due to our clinic layout and the retention of the staff you have come to know, not much will change except for what we can offer you for treatment options. Same team, with a couple additions and the same quality care. Dr. Orr will be with us on Wednesdays should you wish to access his services and with that, the option to maintain your dental care outside of our office is fully supported by us.
Our Story
Shine Dental Hygiene Centre opened in June of 2018 and we are so thankful for the support of the community over the years!
Since June 2026 our team is headed by Dr. Logan Orr. Dr. Orr received his undergraduate degree from the University of Saskatchewan, after which, he completed a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Alberta in 2018. He began his career in Taber, where he gained experience in pediatric, endodontic, and restorative dentistry. Later in Lethbridge, he continued in these fields in addition to fixed prosthodontics. He has particular interest in orthodontics and implantology and has recently completed additional education in these areas. We are so delighted to have him back in Taber, even if it is part-time!
Dr. Orr is excited to be back in Taber where his wife Sarah grew up and is looking forward to getting to know you and your families. Together they enjoy spending time with their 4 children and the outdoors.
Our team of hygienists, Aryn and Stephanie were both born and raised in Taber. They attended the same dental hygiene college in Ontario and have been practicing since 2009 and 2010. They bring experience, compassion and love getting to know their patients.
At our front desk and behind the scenes you will find the lovely team of Judie and Michaela, also both born and raised Taberites that help to keep our office running smooth.
